begins with the opening of a new ACE Hardware in the city
of Sierra
Vista, Arizona. The original store opened on October 29,
1981 with an 8,900 sq. ft. location. To better serve the growing needs of the community, the "Helpful
Hardware Folks" are now in a modern
20,000 sq. ft. store with a large outdoor lumber and outdoor living department. Throughout over 28 years of service to
Sierra Vista, Ft.
Huachuca, and the surrounding areas, many friendships
have been made by repeat visits to the store for everyday
hardware and gardening needs by an ever growing number of
customers.
Sierra Vista ACE has always provided the highest level of
customer service possible. The ACE Team of "Helpful Hardware
Folks" possess the talent of many years of product knowledge
along with the genuine interest to serve customers the way
they would like to be treated.
In 1999 Ace
Hardware Corporation recognized Sierra Vista ACE for its
outstanding service and overall superior operation by
awarding the "President’s Cup". A level of recognition
reserved for being one of the best ACE stores in the
world.
Today the store stocks over 20,000 different items and
has availability of over 60,000 items from a
nearby ACE Distribution Center. We also offer products directly from manufacturers nationwide,
and special orders are always
welcome.
Many services are also available at Sierra Vista ACE. We
offer delivery, pet tag engraving, materials cut to size, re-keying locks, duplicating keys,
and custom computer paint color matching.
The store is a proud member of the Sierra Vista Area
Chamber of Commerce and supports many area civic clubs,
organizations, sports teams, school projects, foundations,
and special events.
