begins with the opening of a new ACE Hardware in the city of Sierra Vista, Arizona. The original store opened on October 29, 1981 with an 8,900 sq. ft. location. Today the "Helpful Hardware Folks" are proudly serving customers in a modern 20,000 sq. ft. store with a 31,000 sq. ft. outdoor nursery and lumber area. Throughout the 20 years of service to Sierra Vista, Ft. Huachuca, and the surrounding area, many friendships have been made by repeat visits to the store for everyday hardware and gardening needs by an ever growing number of customers.

Sierra Vista ACE has always provided the highest level of customer service possible. The ACE Team of "Helpful Hardware Folks" possess the talent of many years of product knowledge along with the genuine interest to serve customers the way they would like to be treated.

In 1999 Ace Hardware Corporation recognized Sierra Vista ACE for its outstanding service and overall superior operation by awarding the "President’s Cup". A level of recognition reserved for being one of the best ACE stores in the world.

Today the store stocks over 27,000 different items and has availability twice a week of over 60,000 items from a nearby ACE Distribution Center. Special orders are always welcome. Many services are also available at the store. We offer: tool sharpening, pipe cutting and threading, screen repair, lumber cutting, re-keying locks, duplicating keys, and custom computer paint color matching. Chain, rope, electric wire, fencing, copper tubing, glass, acrylic sheet, and cable is also cut to your size. Delivery is available upon request.

The store is a proud member of the Sierra Vista Area Chamber of Commerce and supports many area civic clubs, organizations, sports teams, school projects, foundations, and special events.
